World Malaria Day

Malaria constitutes the first cause of death in Africa; in Gabon in particular, it is the first cause absenteeism from school and the workplace. The elderly, pregnant women and children under the age of 5 are its first victims. This is the reason why the Foundation remains active alongside the most vulnerable element of our population to combat this pandemic. By raising awareness and teaching simple practices which save lives, we are convinced that together we will save many.

This year our teams chose to visit the province of Nyanga, distributing 3,000 insecticide nets to pregnant women and parents of young children.
