Solidarity Handicap: Distribution of mobility equipment

​In Gabon, the social and professional integration of people living with some form of motor disability is a huge challenge.  For 5 years now, we have committed our resources to working alongside the disabled element of our society in order to prevent disability from being a major obstacle to academic, social or professional integration.In line with the actions we put in place on 3 December, we had the pleasure of welcoming 73 recipients to our headquarters and presenting them with mobility equipment.

In all:

• 23 scooters
• 22 electric wheelchairs
• 28 manual wheelchairs were given out.

Together with receiving these gifts, the beneficiaries and their parents were able to attend Highway Code training as well as equipment maintenance courses.  On behalf of all the 

FSBO team, we wish them well on their travels!
