Pink October - A mobile unit: more innovation, closer to the people

he main innovation this year, other than the set-up of a screening cell within Alice House, was the deployment of a mobile unit across the different provinces of the country.In conjunction with the Military Hospital of Libreville and of the company OLAM, the women of Mouila, in the Ngounié region, were also able to experience Pink October. 

For four days, healthcare professionals explained what cancer was, outlined the benefits of preventative care, and enabled over 500 women of this town to be screened.  

As Emma (41 years old), elite team leader for OLAM on the Mouila site explains, the women are happy to have been able to meet our Pink October teams.  ​
