Cancer: New colposcopes for Port-Gentil and Oyem Regional Hospitals

For a few days now, our teams have been working in the provinces of Woleu-Ntem and Ogooué-Maritime. After a stop in Haut-Ogooué and Estuaire, it’s now time for the regional hospitals of Port-Gentil and Oyem to be equipped with and for staff to be trained in the use of a brand new colposcope.

This will enable immediate detection of pre-cancerous lesions and treatment before these lesions can develop into cancer.

 So ladies please don't wait any longer… you too must be screened against breast and cervical cancers, and please don't hesitate to ask all the questions you might have of the healthcare professionals you meet; let them to support you through this.
