​A few weeks ago, our 2016 ‘ Handicap Tour’ came to an emotional close.Over a two-month period, the Solidarity Handicap team travelled across all provinces of our country, covering over 11,000 km, to hand out 143 mobility items (electric and manual wheelchairs, scooters, white canes), and to perform maintenance and repair operations on existing equipment, right at the heart of our communities.  

Each recipient was trained in the use and operation of his or her piece of equipment, as well as in the highway code.  

This mission was also an opportunity for the Foundation to distribute 500 pairs of shoes designed to grow with the child, donated by the GEMO clothing company to the underprivileged children of Gabon.
